"I have been coming to Zaleski’s for the past 20 years. Food is always amazing. Martinis are great! Unfortunately, this past visit did not meet Zaleski’s standards. We waited over an hour and a half for our meal. The table next to us and others around us who had come in after, were served before us. Just to make it clear we had ordered wings , two meatball platters, pizza, and the order of fries (which never came). We had asked to speak with a manager / owner and waited another 15-20 minutes. Then had to ask the server again to speak with management. Finally, one of the owners had came to the table. She first stated she is “sorry , but at least you got your food.” I stated that the other two tables near us who had came 20-25 minutes after us received their food. They had ordered food very similar to ours yet theirs had come out first? Not to mention we also had our eight year old with us waiting on her food as well. The owner then proceeded to say “well, that is my mother who is 80 something years old.” To which I replied “what about everyone around us who has also received their food before ours?” Her response was first to offer me a free cocktail. When I told her that a free drink isn’t going to help the situation, next she asked “what would you like me to do, comp the whole meal? We are a small family owned business and we can’t do that” Not once was did I mention or insinuate that I was looking for a “free” meal. Unfortunately, the management was not taking any responsibility for the situation. The pizza we did not eat, and fries that never made it to the table were taken off of the bill. Everything else was paid for, and a generous tip was given to the waitress. After all the years of frequently visiting this establishment, I have never felt so disappointed and undervalued as a customer. Sorry to say this will be the last time I go to The Clubhouse."
"The Buffalo wing pizza is next to none and the cheesesteak Stromboli is unreal. This place is a hidden gem in Scranton. My family and I love this place. It was the first place we ate when we all moved from Texas in 2021 and it has remained our favorite ever since."
"The bar is separated from the restaurant. I went into the restaurant. Decided to try a meal. Pizza and wings. A local average place. Nothing fancy."
"tl;dr Wings. These are good wings. Banquet “style” dining and “divey” bar. CASH ONLY Sorry Visa, you’re not welcome — Old school, banquet style decor. This place seems like they knew what they wanted when they opened and haven’t looked back since. Service was good. Servers were attentive and polite. Drink list is a bit dated…traditional domestics and the basics. If you want craft beer, you won’t really find it here. The food is good. Very good. Solid menu - they know what they’re doing and you should come hungry because you won’t be disappointed. Bring your cash though - no cards accepted here. Overall a great place to bring the family, enjoy a quality meal with good service."
