"First of all Walt and his wife Chuck are the kindest people I have had the pleasure of encountering recently. Both are super eager to strike up a conversation and you can tell genuinely are interested in talking with you. I came to the Mill Salon + Apothecary for initially a haircut from Walt. However, I found myself buying a candle with an irresistible scent along with a few other things I just couldn't leave there! When it came to my haircut, I was greeted with a breath of fresh air! Walt really knows what he's doing! (something I find hard to find in this area) I decided to just let him work his magic on my hair that was riddled with dead ends. I just told him, " I need to be able to pull it back in a ponytail and I straighten it everyday." I then closed my eyes. Let me tell you something guys, I AM ENAMORED with my hair now! I use to just pull it back everyday because I never liked my haircuts. Now, I wear my hair down all the time! Walt is the.real.deal. Also, I cannot stand a catty person who cuts my hair. I dont want to feel like whatever we talk about is going to be spread around town. Well when sharing that this is one of the reasons I ended up in Walts chair, he told me he doesnt believe in that. I really believe him when he says, "whats said here stays between you and I." He is great at holding conversation (even when you awkwardly have your eyes closed the whole time). I ended up talking to Chuck after my haircut for like a half a hour about our small businesses. I seriously cannot rant and rave more about these guys! I absolutely will be coming back for Walt to re cut my hair! Next time I will be purchasing Chucks hair products as Walt used them and theyre AMAZING. Do your hair a favor and let Walt cut it. Also, for your soul buy a candle or some hair product from Chuck as all her products I have experienced are high quality"
