Zac's Hamburgers

"I’ve passed this place many times during my travels and have contemplated eating here. Tonight I was picking up delivery orders for DoorDash and experienced some very rude customer service. Upon entry and mentioning that I was picking up a delivery, the owner/head boss did not greet me and was very rude about telling me how long of a wait it would be for the order. After sitting down at a table to wait, I got pinged with another order and had walked up to the counter let him know that I got stacked with a second order, from that point he was rude once again letting me know that i would be waiting for a while and asked me to cancel the order and started mouthing off about how his food was going to be wasted. While I do understand that the restaurant was busy and I do understand that there was going to be a wait, the treatment that I received from him was borderline unacceptable. So bad to the point that one of the waiters had to apologize to me for his actions. While I still do want to try the food here, his actions have somewhat dissuaded me from spending my money here."

"Zak's is always great. First time at this location and as any other left with a full belly of delicious food and a smile on my face. Very friendly employees will be back again of course!"

"My wife and I were trying to figure out what to eat for dinner but we wanted something quick and good. We ended up stopping by Zac's and we didn't regret it. We ordered cheeseburgers and spicy fries will all of the toppings you could think of. I will give the staff credit they were patient and figured out a way to change our order to the spicy fries. The wait wasn't too long and the atmosphere was ok but needed to be cleaned. There was a good amount of crumbs and trash on some tables and chairs. The food was good and reasonable, we were able to enjoy it once we arrived home."

"I ordered and was given a number on my receipt. My Chocolate shake was done before my burgers, and the nice lady came over to me and handed me my shake. In other places, you would have to go to them, while in the "to go" line. Burgers were excellent, price was good. I like the place !"

"Good food and friendly people. The shakes are simple and tasty, though not overly-generous. The free toppings are a hit (A1 sauce is there but not listed.) The fries are some of my favorite in the area. The food is always cooked well and they do a great job of nailing your order - probably one of the last places in Delco with that skill. They are taking some hits from me mainly for a diminishing attention to the quality of the presentation as well as the atmosphere. The waiting-for-your-order space runs into the eating space with no more than a couple people waiting on food. I usually get the very delicious sausage sandwich with raw onions, spicy mustard, relish, and sometimes peppers, and lately the meal has felt a little stingy. I’m posting my latest order, which is becoming typical. The food itself is great, so full stars, but “they don’t make them like they used to!” Also, I miss the buns they used many years ago, fwiw. In the end, I’m still gonna chow down on some Zac’s regularly!"
