Bolling Air Force Base Barber Shop

"Great place for a nice haircut at a very good price I was originally not going to review this place but read their reviews on Google and think that this place needed to hear about my experience. Most of the other reviews paint a very bad picture and are from several months or years ago. I visited this place in November and had a very nice experience. This establishment is located on JBAB right across from the Exchange. There is plenty of covered parking on the north side of the building close to the entrance. The shop had plenty of chairs and was designed to handle a fair amount of people. It was not busy when I walked in. The shop was clean and bright. I was seated right away. There were only 2 barbers that I saw at the time that I arrived. Mine was a nice gentleman who asked my preferences and paid close attention to my request. He was pleasant, and efficient and did a good job on my haircut. Once completed, he rang me in at the register near the entrance. The cost for the haircut was less than I normally pay at a civilian location so it was worth it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I would recommend to others needing a haircut."

"This has to be the worst military barber shop I have used in almost 19 years of service. They chop off your bangs every time, even after you have told them you wanted a trim only. First world problems, I know, but the JBAB BX needs to find better barbers…stat!"

"Not sure what I did to deserve a rough haircut, but she was really aggressive, yanking my head about; I also have injuries to my neck, so it did not feel good. Provide adequate services; this is not a basic training center; cut my hair with respect. Also, it is very unsanitary to cut someone's hair with clippers and not use alcohol after the cut. This barbershop needs to employ the appropriate hygiene to include services for different ethnic groups. Please fix the facilities usage."

"My two teenage sons both received haircuts at this establishment. Neither got the haircut style they asked for, and one haircut was 4 dollars more than the other? I am not impressed. I guess they deserve 1 star because of the convenience?"
