"*Updated Review and Updated and Lowered Rating As of Late June of 2021 and during The COVID-19 Global Pandemic: I stopped by here again to ask Stephen to plesse confirm the shop telephone number. Stephen was not there yet, but I met another Barber, (Mr.) Melvin, and I told him why I stopped to see Stephen before in my unpaid capacity as a Google Local Guide. Melvin had a lot of questions about the Google Local Guide Program and I was happy to answer his questions. Most of the other folks who were in the shop joined in the conversation and the conversation evolved into what I thought was a fun and very lively discussion. A strange thing occured though when I asked one of the men there if he also owned or worked at the Tattoo shop next door since I saw him come out of it before he went into Cuttline and he told me he was never in the tattoo shop. In fact he seemed to get angry that I even thought I saw anybody that looked like him come out of that tattoo shop? It was him I saw but why he felt the need to lie about it is a mystery. Stephen then arrived and when I said Hi to him, he did not speak. I then later decided to go to talk to a manager at the Tattoo shop since I had never been there before. Before I left, Melvin told me that he did not know how to use technology like Google Pay to send and receive payments, so I told him I would send him a small payment from Google Pay to him using his cell phone number and then he would see the instructions from Google on how to download the Google Pay App to accept my payment. When I returned from the Tattoo shop, I sensed an odd shift of energy and coldness towards me....especially from Stephen when I asked him if he had seen my Review yet. I then asked Melvin if he had Accepted the payment I sent to him from Google Pay, And he said Yes. Buy I later found out Melvin lied to me. I am now going to try to stop by here one more time with the hopes that I can once again give them a favorable Review and elevate their rating back up to a 5-Star Rating, but if not, then I will never consider becoming a customer here. My Previous Rating from Mid-May of 2021, and during the COVID-19 Global Pandemic is was as follows: I just happened to stop in front of this Grooming Lounge just before they closed. I decided to go in briefly to find out more about them since I had never seen them here before and I'm looking for a new Barber. I was greeted by (Mr.) Stephen, and Stephen was very nice to me and he patiently and professionally answered all of my questions. Stephen said they recently opened late last year. I told Stephen that I would return asap and because of my pleasant interaction with him, I'm really looking forward to my next visit here."
