"The food was excellent, but the service and atmosphere was terrible. We were first timers, so we needed explanation of Mofongo dish the waitress was not even close in her description. My Wife ordered reg Chicken and rice from the glass covered hot table and the waitress took The liberty to upgrade the order to a chicken dinner entree from the back. The place was cold so we decided to move away from the door. In doing so we were rudely asked to return to a 2 seat table. The place was only less than 1/4 full. Food was very good but the service and attitude of the staff was terrible. Will not return. Total upsell restaurant"

"The mofongo is a garlic lover’s dream. The plantain itself has great texture, but the chicharrones were rather gravely and tough, so I’d recommend getting a different protein. Mofongo has a tendency to be extremely dry; the one here was moist. It’s a gigantic ball of starch that’s enough for 1.5 meals."
"Just a tad bit disappointing I order through Grubhub and the photo that was pleated. I seen salad meat and the plantain for $24. I would of like the salad as well to go with the meal if it’s plated like that I would of liked, that’s what I expected to get to get"
"Authentic food with excellent service. Our server took the time out of her very busy day to explain the menu and offerings and even gave us a few suggestions and recommendations. Food came out blazing hot and fresh. The portion sizes are HUGE and everyone in my party left with a doggy bag. This place is the epitome of comfort food. The only downside is that there aren't a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Other than that, I would recommend this place and plan to visit again!"
