The Silverspoon

"This was our second time dining at Silverspoon, and we are just as happy with our delicious dinners as our first experience. We started with the deviled egg appetizer and split the winter salad - a perfect size for two. For dinner, we enjoyed the bronzino, which was perfectly prepared, and the chicken dish was also delicious. Highly recommend Silverspoon for a great meal and laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere."

"Server was nice but seemed very overwhelmed. I ordered the mushroom bisque with the truffle fries. The truffle fries didn’t come out until 10 minutes after the soup and had to ask the server where they were. The bisque needed salt or some seasoning, it was pretty bland. The French onion soup and the apple pancake special were very good!"

"So I don't usually hand out stars like candy but for a 6 person brunch this visit was atmospheric gold. At Silverspoon you can have a normal bistro conversation without screaming. There is no bloody Mary bar and the coffee is reasonably good. Everyone's food came out at the same time and the fries are out of this world. Nice blend of simplicity with a champagne touch. Extra points for no line out the door of hungry people trying to coerce you into rushing your meal. For Thanksgiving weekend Silverspoon was a win for civility !"

"Wow! This food was amazing! I had, mushroom soup and eggs benedict, with chef's choc mousse to finish. They have fresh ingredients, friendly staff, today was no waiting, inside and out seating, and the flavors across items are really well thought out. Rustic setting, farm to table type vibe and cute area all around. I started digging into this eggs benedict before thinking to take a shot of it..."

"Mediocre coffee. Great service. Beautiful venue with a nice outside area far enough from the main road to not hear it. Benedict was very stingy on the hollandaise, unable to taste the tiny amount they added. Caramelized bacon was excellent. Egg poach was very good, cooked white and 90% runny yolk. The doughnuts were spectacular!"
