"Shredded a tire on the 413 rail to trail while bikepacking thru Somerset County & Laura came out to the rescue. Super nice & quick service at a very reasonable cost. Now, RTG!"
"I was biking across the eastern shore. Had a blown tire and tube on my rear tire. Laura came out to my location within an hour and replaced my tube and tire. She was awesome. Fast, friendly and extremely reasonable. Trip was saved! Many thanks!"
"Great experience! Fixed up a flat on my ebike in no time! Very knowledgeable, highly recommend!"
"I recently took a long road trip from NYC to the Eastern Shore. An early heavy rain gummed up my drivetrain and I needed some help. Mid-peninsula there are zero options. Headwind Cycles was about an hour from me and I had a couple of choices at that distance but I was largely just picking blindly. I made a call and left a message, Laura quickly got back to me. She confirmed that they could fully serve my disc brake, di2 Shimano Roubaix. When i dropped off my bike, I was told I could get it back in about 48 hours. They are open by appointment only, and that worked fine for me. Their estimate was extremely reasonable. I got a call the next day letting me know my bike would be done in a few hours and Joe wanted to confirm whether I wanted the thin bar tape I'd requested or the more padded version. This is important. I'd been kicking myself on the drive home earlier for not going with a heavier wrap because my bike shipped with thick tape and changing that up midride was dumb. But until the suggestion, I was just going to take my mistake and move on. I met Joe to pick up the bike. He walked me through what he did and what was still going to be needed further down he road. He taught me a couple of things about the tech on my own bike. There was never any pressure for upsell. They provided an amazing service for a great price. I would very highly recommend taking your bike to the folks at Headwind Cycles. I'm so happy I found them!"
