"Erin is THE best! I used to get around with my hair - paying an arm and a leg for the fancy places in stroudsburg that judge you and take all your money. Shear Perfections is NOT that type of a place! I can never describe what I want so I’m able to show Erin pictures and she discusses what she can and can’t do, based on my hair texture and color, face shape, etc. Its like she reads my mind! The prices are very reasonable for the amazing result I get each time. I’ve only had Erin do my hair but all the other girls in the salon are always very kind and professional. Shear Perfections is also great for walk-ins with my husband and son. My toddler loves getting his hair cut because all the ladies fawn all over him and he’s treated like a big boy. "EDIT: After the owner reached out, I went back and got my hair fixed and couldn't be happier. Blended and all of the brassy color gone, it's beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Erin did a fantastic job. Thank you so much!! -- I've gotten my hair done here a few times and the last time left very unhappy with the results. I wanted a balayage into blonde and was told this would take a few sessions since my hair is very dark, which makes sense. I paid a decent amount of money for each of these sessions. The first dresser did a great job, but the last time I went I had to schedule with a different dresser. I told her I wanted my hair toned and the brass taken out of it but she told me that leaving some of the brass in would create "dimensionality". I don't know anything about hair, so I trusted what she said, even though I had told her I wanted the brassy color removed. I had to take my glasses off during the session, and essentially couldn't see anything going on, so when I went home and took a closer look, I saw that the color was incredibly uneven (see attached photos) with entire chunks of my hair not colored at all. I'll have to pay MORE money to go somewhere to get this fixed, but I will likely bite the bullet and just wait for my hair to grow out because I really can't afford to have it. The girls are all perfectly nice, but I'm really disappointed with the results after paying so much and will definitely not be back again."

"I went to Shear Perfections for the first time and got my hair cut by Jillian today and it looks amazing!!! I’m pretty picky about salons after having a hair stylist give me an unintentional mullet last year, but Jillian really eased any worries I may have had. She was very professional and did exactly what I asked for. Cut the perfect amount off where it wasn’t too much but it got all the dead ends off of my hair. I will recommend this salon to all of my friends and family in the area!"

"I went here after a few bad experiences from other salons in the area. I am so glad I decided to give them a chance. Liz is wonderful! She was so pleasant and upbeat. She really listened to me and gave me great input to help me get my hair how I want it. She came up with a long term plan to repair the damage the bad cuts did. She asked me all throughout the cut how I felt about what she was doing so I had the opportunity to ask for any adjustments. From what I saw, the other stylists did some great cuts and were all very nice as well. I really love that everyone there is focused on their client and what they're doing. Some other places I've been, you are all but ignored and they will chat among themselves rather than paying attention to what they're doing. I was able to get a same day appointment, and the wait was short when I arrived. I will definitely be sticking with them!"

"I have been going to shear perfectionist for a couple of years now and have never had a problem. Every hair stylist that I've gone to has done a great job with my hair. At this point I won't go anywhere else. Why would I? I've had several different things done to my hair and every time was better than the last. I usually go to Erin. I think she is my favorite but really they're all good."
