"I ordered the crab cake sandwich and pasta salad. This came out completely flavorless. It sincerely taste like bun and lettuce. I'm very disappointed in this order. The pasta salad taste like basil only. The cupcake chocolate on chocolate was old and the icing was very hardened. Not sure what happened lately but the quality has gone down badly! If I could give no stars I would. I never even wrote a review before but I had to say something. Please correct this for the sake of crab cake lovers like myself!"

"Dixie Picnic hands down, has THE BEST scratch made food I have EVER had IN MY LIFE! EVERYTHING is made in house, from scratch and is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I love their New England Clam Chowder, no matter how hot or cold the weather is outside! Their upcakes are sinfully delicious and I WILL be coming back in the future to try some more made from scratch food! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you are getting your driver's license renewed at the nearby DMV, or if you want to celebrate getting your permit or license."

However, the good food component was slightly "ruined" today by the impatient, terse treatment of the person taking my order. I realize lunch times are busy and they're frantically getting to-go orders ready. But it's important to treat your customers with kindness. We're the reason you're in business."

"Fantastic new discovery for me. Wanted to grab lunch after a meeting before I drive to the airport to pick up someone. This place is some serious homespun southern comfort. Boxed Lunches, Pimento Cheese Sandwiches, Deviled Eggs, "Upcakes" and fresh baked bread and rolls. I was in heaven. Here you order and pay at the counter and they call your name. Plenty of self serve seating or take your goodies home. I ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner Sandwich Box Lunch. House Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Whole Cranberry Sauce and mayo on house baked Sally Lunn Roll. Comes with a choice of sides, deviled egg and an Upcake. This meal was simply fantastic! Oh...Yes....The Upcakes are tender, moist upside down cupcakes iced on the sides and bottom....MORE ICING PER CAKE! Southern geniuses at Dixie Picnic. Bought an assorted half dozen Upcakes and a warm loaf of house made multi grain bread to take home. I cannot wait to come back."
