"Beautiful area! The water was calm and crystal clear! I would recommend for everyone!"
"This is a slightly under serviced county park. There is not marked public parking but you can park for free at the end of Rosamond Ave and just walk around the low car barrier. There is almost never anyone at this small gem of a park. Occasionally fishing folks will visit the lake, there are lovely trails, an abandoned (but largely in tact and functional) pavilion. There is a lovely bench looking over the lake dedicated to “barefootin” Clearly some years ago there was more parking, access and use of this area."
"After almost 20 years away from NJ, I recently returned and was sad to see that Lake Worth is no longer a swimming park. I used to come here during the late 70's and early 80's to go swimming with the family and it used to be packed. There used to be homes in this park too. So many memories ! Nice to see that the lake is still there and they have not developed the whole area."
"Camden County's hidden gem. I might be a little bias as this is my backyard. The park is clean, no trash is on the ground thanks to the locals who train their dogs there every day. I myself have trained here everyday for the last 15 years. The trails are clear and lined with logs. It's a nice loop that runs the whole park that takes 30 minutes or so to walk. The fishing is good with bass, pike, crappy and sunnys. There is a parking lot across from the moose lodge on the pike so no need to park on new freedom rd. Please if you're fishing pick up your trash and line. If you can bring it in you can take it out or use the trash cans."
"Great for Pickerel fishing on the back end by the Reed clusters. Too water jointed #7 and smaller Rapala lures or best. Nice quiet spot to do some fishing and mental recharging."
