Reviews
"Most highly recommend. Favorite place for Colombian empanadas, and for authentic South American soups and dishes literally “made by Grandma” —- can taste and feel the love, care, experience in each savory mouthful. We always feel as welcomed as family as this neat, happy, family-run eatery where the customers are always smiling, satisfied and sated. Good salsa music. Service is genuine with an occasional error of inexperience. Owner Juan is friendly, down to earth, and he and his wife (Grandma the chef) make this a very special place."
"Mi Pais has some of the best food I've had. Their empanadas are awesome and so dang affordable (their sauces are outstanding). I've had some of their other menu items and they were so good. The people are so friendly and helpful. I love going to Mi Pais and am glad it's practically around the corner from me"
"Food is always excellent. Had the fried fish, red snapper, empanadas, and the bacon appetizer. Good flavor, nothing overly spicy hot but flavorful spices."
"We went for the first time and loved the delicious sancocho de res (Colombian beef stew) we added rice and avocado, chicken empanadas, vegetarian arepa, Mi Pais vegetarian and passion fruit juice. The staff are helpful and explain what the items are. The menu is bilingual which helps too. The prices are good for the quality and quantity. We ordered cheese arepas to go. We got a bag of Juan Valdez coffee for home too. I appreciate the Colombian music and ambiance."
