"Well I expect it to be crowded the day before school so I’m not upset I waited 3hrs for my son hair to be cut. What I am upset about is my son and I was not welcomed there. Put it like this the coolest person was the guy sweeping up the hair keeping the shop tidy and neat while barbers cut. First of all when my son finally got in the chair to be cut the barber rubbed me the wrong way off rip. So for some reason the first thing he ask me was did you put a perm in his head with this facial expression like he was disgusted instead of what type cut you trying get. I’m like first of all no he doesn’t you can clearly see that he’s mixed he doesn’t have a perm. So I told him cut his hair to about a 3-31/2 tapper both sides n back shape up. So while my son was suppose to be getting cut, I had to run out to the atm to get cash because their machine was down n it was cash only cool no problem. I comeback 15 mins later only to see my son sitting in the corner looking upset with his hair worse then when I first brung him there. So the owner of the shop says to the barber that was suppose to cut his hair was like. There goes his father right there. I’m like what’s going on what’s wrong. So the barber tells me let me speak to you outside only to tell me he can’t cut his hair because he has lice. I’m like what u mean he has lice so I called my 9 yr old son over we were right in direct sunlight he was like look, and I’m looking and I told him it looks like dandruff he like nah you see it that stuff is moving I can’t cut it you have to take him to see a doctor. All I’m a say is that barber was Buuulllshit to the 5th power. My son did not have any lice I had to take my son to Baltimore to get his hair cut after I wasted waited those 3hrs for nothing. My wife is a registered nurse n she was pissed as well for that to happened to our son. It was the most embarrassing experience that anybody can ever go though and I would never recommend anyone ever going there. Ps since my son hair was too straight looking for you I’ll just take him to a hair cuttery. Support black business nah I’m supporting the ones who gives good Quality service not cause we black foh"

"I can tell this barbershop has been successful for many years. Every time I come here there is a constant flow of customers. All of the barbers are very talented. Selwyn himself is always here, engaging with customers and ensuring his barbers have everything they need to provide excellent service. I am a female with short hair. I started coming here 3 years ago, when I made the "big chop" to go natural. All the gentlemen are very respectful and professional. So when my mom came to visit I brought her here to get her hair cut as well. My mother absolutely loved her haircut by Tristian. He is naturally talented and started off my mother's birthday weekend with a bang. She has been smiling from ear to ear. #SheReady! Tristian did an amazing job.
