"Horrible, absolutely horrible service! The hairdressers here are completely rude and unprofessional!! I went in for a haircut and highlights, I asked for blonde highlights & a few burgundy highlights as well, the whole time I was explaining what I wanted she was on her cell phone, texting away and apparently not listening to a thing I'd said! She neglected to put in the burgundy highlights I had asked for and when I said something about it, she snapped at me with "oh no, we never talked about that!" I was clear in my explanation of what I wanted, I guess she would've known that if she wasn't too busy texting/making personal phone calls!!!"

"This review is in regard to the barber. The building was nicely maintained, and the salon had clients at the time of my visit, I only went for the barber services. I came in looking like a mess today, not even a hot mess, like a homeless person person mess that has been living pretty hard on the skids. I hadn't had an actual haircut in over two years, my hair, although clean, was a tangled rats nest. When the barber began spraying my mop down, and proceeded to comb it, I chuckled a little, and told him good luck with that. I expected, with my hair being in such an awful state, that the job would have taken a good half an hour, upwards of forty five minutes. So, during my extremely short wait for my turn in the chair, when a older man with shorter hair walked in, I gladly gave him my turn, and stated that, "I may take a bit longer than him." All in all, I had probably twelve inches of hair chopped off, trimmed and groomed in about 15 minutes. My head spun from how fast, and neat the barber did his job. Fantastic job, very walk in friendly, the barber was extremely personable and professional. I could not recommend any other barber in the local are more than the one at Hillside Hair Salon."
