"This is a local bait and tackle store located in Deale MD. It is one of the few bait and tackle stores on the way down to the Chesapeake in Southern Maryland. My first time experience there was met with friendly, and knowledge staff despite arriving just a few minutes before they closed. MARISSA was extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions confidently, and made appropriate suggestions around my wants and needs. She was extremely professional, and genuine which made the whole experience worth driving a bit out of the way to check them out. I’m glad I did. This bait store is very well stocked with rods, reels, rod/reel combos, artificial and live baits, as well as more than enough accessories. They even have items that I can’t find at my normal bait store and have been asking about for a while. To say the least, I will definitely be coming back to Tri-State Marine Tackle Shop for future needs around my fishing supplies. Kudos to Marissa and Tri-State Marine Tackle Shop on a job well done and exceeding your customers expectations!"

"Absolutely best tackle shop and staff around! They are the epitome of what a local business is to the community. This is my first year not taking a charter trip and decided to try trophy rockfishing on my own. Dawn was so incredibly helpful teaching me the ropes on rockfish gear. Took the time to walk me through everything and was very patient with all my questions. They pulled together everything and even assembled a rig that wasn’t readily available off the shelf. Marissa was great also and when I picked up the gear, it was packaged with a personalized note and some magazine resources. Highly recommend to anybody wanting top notch service and gear from local experts at very reasonable prices."
"Very nice local tackle shop. They had several types of bait along with several types of fishing lures. Additionally, they were starting to get hunting supplies in for the fall, and also sold local items on the side. Overall a great place to stop when you're fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. They're also one of the few places that had a boat ramp that you could use for the public. Price for in and out together is $20 total."
