"I used to love the Shelby. They lost a customer today though!! I used to bring my parents here or a girls dinner all the time, even though it’s expensive because especially because I loved their pomegranate martini and vegetarian options. Imagine my surprise when I come again and they took out both vegetarian options (the vegetable lasagna and not-nonnas meatloaf) off the menu. The vegetable lasagna was so good. I was offered a salad or Mac and cheese as the only vegetarian option, since the portabello gnocchi is made with chicken stock. The Mac and cheese was actually so gross. The cheese was thick, sweet, and the shells were soggy. I truly could not get more than 2 bites in without wanting to vomit. For this price, it was unacceptable Waitress was not attentive. Took so long to put in drinks initially. very obviously ignoring us and only serving (many times) the large table next to us despite many repeated attempts to get her attention. Hope the Shelby steps up and puts real vegetarian options back on the menu, especially the vegetable lasagna. Was insanely disappointed in my experience today. Will not be coming back or recommending this"

"This is one of my familys new favorite places to eat! We came here the first time for Mothers Day Brunch. I had the Chicken and Waffles and they were to die for! Last time, I had one of their burgers and it was absolutely delicious too. Staff is friendly and it has a cool atmosphere."

"We had a great server. She checked on us with the right amount of regularity and had a great attitude. I would appreciate a bit more space between tables. But in general, the restaurant space is well distributed. I had a blackend salmon with white wine and I loved it. It literally felt like it melted in my mouth! And yes, there is plenty of parking space."

"The Shelby is just doing too much... The atmosphere is lovely and the service wonderful, but the food was not what I expected. We ordered the cured wings, the salmon, and the cheesesteak. The wings were crispy, but mushy inside. The cheesesteak meat didn't taste like shaved prime rib, rather something from the grocery store or frozen, and the cheese sauce was flavorless. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but tasted under-seasoned and the red beet spaetzle was tasty but the white wine emulsion did not taste good. It had a flavor added that overwhelmed the sauce. Our favorite part of our meal was the Caesar salad, which was delicious and tasted fresh. For the prices, we expected things to be much better. Overall, it felt like the meals were overly complicated just for the sake of being fancy, different, and experimental at the cost of good quality food."

"Great first visit. The staff, (especially Emily) was friendly, attentive and asked us questions to ensure a great dining experience. Delicious food that was wonderfully presented. Recommend the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs."
