"We came to the Station Taproom for dinner a few weeks ago and I honestly don't have enough good things to say about this resturant. First and foremost they have the best curry I have ever had, and I would 100% go out of my way to have it again. The wait staff from the bartenders to the waiter (maybe he was the manager) tending us once we got to a table were all so accommodating and friendly. When we first got there they were pretty busy but after tasting the food, I understand why. They have a one page menu with daily specials and a large variety of cocktails and drafts to choose from. We got quite a few dishes and had not one complaint. I would/do recommend this resturant to anyone looking for a place to eat in the Downingtown area. You may have a wait but the wait is worth it!"
"Stopped by for the first time on a Sunday about 1PM and are very glad that we did. The taproom was comfortably busy but service was fast and friendly. The brunch menu is creative while having standard fare for those less adventurous. The Black Bean Burger is delicious (but be aware a bit spicy) and the Eggs/scrapple Benedict was a delicious flavor experience. Respect for the chef and staff for flavor and presentation. Very good beer and cocktail menu. Obviously we will be back."
"Wanted to head out on a Friday night and didn't want to repeat any of our regular joints. Found this place which was a 30 min drive and boy, it didn't disappoint. server Kate was great. In fact one of the customers before us complimented her saying she was the best server she had ever seen. Good and myriad collections of beer which we liked. Food was good as well. Try the jalapeno quesadilla and the poutine for sure"
"Update: I finally ordered something I didn't like at all. The Mac and cheese with the buffalo sauce chicken bites with bacon. I thought the cheese in the Mac and cheese was bland, the chicken was over sauced and somehow made the mac and cheese taste like mustard. My husband liked it but it was just not for me. Original post: Always great food and service. We went at about 5:30 on a Thursday where it didn't have any tables at the time so we sat at the bar which was fine, fun even. One of the bartenders Kerry was extremely friendly and attentive, we liked the female bartender too she was nice enough to explain what was in the drinks for me. We went to happy hour so we got food from the snack menu and the pulled pork sandwich. The truffled fries were on but they should just call them regular fries because there's no way anyone could tell there's truffle in them, the deviled eggs were good but too salty, and the pulled pork was probably the best but a little under salted. As for cocktails the tequila cherry sour was good maybe a little on the bland side and the mezcal pineapple paloma I didn't like at all, tasted way too salty. The cucumber cooler looked really good and so did the pomegranate jalapeno margarita so I may try those next time. Went another time for brunch with my daughter. Her breakfast burger was delicious. I got the biscuits and gravy with an egg, which was good but her burger was better. I tried a Bellini and I thought it was tasty as well."
