"I see why their ratings are so low. My husband and I went to purchase a new shower head after ours malfunctioned...meaning we were prepared to spend some money that day. We walked in and there was a white saleswoman assisting another white couple so we just started looked around. We thought it was odd that there was no hello, welcome, look around we'll be with you shortly, etc. No one ever said a single word to us. We saw an area in back where people were sitting at computer desks working so we asked a black guy and he said we have to speak to a salesperson to order. We walked around some more, patiently waiting to be acknowledged by ANYONE. That never happened so we finally walked out. I guess that white couple must've looked like their money was greener than ours! They would never get my money. Terrible customer service."

"I just experienced the worst customer service ever. Walk in two women behind desk and no one greeted us. We asked for a price on a shower unit, we were waiting for the price after a while I said are you getting that price for me? She replied that I needed to make an appointment which is ridiculous. I can’t believe she couldn’t give us an estimated price. I will never ever return back there. So frustrating!! I am spreading the word on this awful store. Very rude employees."

"Appointment only for the showroom and their parts department is closed as well. Their hours are updated on the site but their sign still shows they are open Saturday. Customer service has always been lackluster."

"Poor customer service. Ordered kitchen faucet and purified water faucet. Salesperson ordered only the kitchen faucet. When only the main faucet arrived, I reordered the purified water faucet. It came into the store and sat almost six weeks until I called and discovered that they had the item. Customers should not have to chase their ordered items down with the store."

"My wife and I went to their Owings Mills Store in December to order fixtures for our bathroom remodeling. They had very nice displays from all of the major manufacturers and the salesperson was knowledgeable and very nice. We made it clear that we only wanted to get fixtures that would be readily available. It is now almost the end of February and the fixtures are not here and no one knows when they will arrive. The bathroom is unusable. We were told that there is a truck from the Kohler factory that leaves Wisconsin with the fixtures but does not leave until it is fully loaded; next we were told that bad weather in Wisconsin caused the factory to be shut down for a week. It is winter and it is Wisconsin, that is not a surprise. We were also told that the truck is in Arkansas and delayed by winter storms. I am very disappointed in Somerville and Kohler and I would be hesitant to use them again."
