Reviews of Lacey Woods Park
"Kids had a blast. The bigger, straight slide needs to be more stable towards the end. It's a bit wobbly."
"Great park with a very clean sand box and big slide, but you need to parallel park if you drive there."
"Popped into Lacey Woods Park while searching for a nearby geocache. I didn't get to see a whole lot of the park because we were at the Washington Blvd end And it's mostly open area at that end. I did get to take pictures of my CacheHoundPenny on a pretty cool wood "sculpture" and trying out a Rent-a-Bike. This looks like an awesome park!"
"First time visiting this park. I found it to be very familiar friendly with lots of green space a basketball court picnic tables playground and a shelter with an outlet. Bathrooms are clean and warmed with heaters. I had a great experience"
"It's not a huge area but this park caught my attention when I saw nearly 2/3 of the place is woods. I've become so accustomed to parks being open spaces with a a few trees (if any). Especially, not enough to block view of the house on the other side. So as you can guess, to be able to get to be surrounded by tall trees shading the sun a bit was a treat. In the woods there is a pavilion and a separate a fire pit area - the trail to those places is paved making it available for someone in a wheelchair to enjoy as well. In the grassy part there's an open space for sports, basketball hoops and a (currently being renovated) playground. This is a great place to just enjoy being outside with out the noisy distractions that a town or city offer."
