"Drove 40mins to get there to purchase a specific pair of shoes - got there 10mins before closing. The door was already looked and two sales reps looked past me through the glass doors like I didn’t exist. Even an acknowledgment would have been a nice form of customer service (I would have tried again the next day)…decided to purchase the shoes elsewhere online."

"I have had one of the worst customer service experiences in a long time. FAMOUS FOOTWEAR OUTLET at Tanger Outlets at the National Harbor (Maryland). I called to check on my pickup order which was suppose to be ready in an hour or so after I placed the order online that morning which should it was available for pickup. I waited hours before calling to find out the status to then discover my order was canceled with no reason given per the phone rep. She apologized and gave me the direct number to the Outlet to see if they could check their stock and hold the sneaker for me. I called and immediately was put on hold then the Cashier says she's very busy but how can she help me? I asked to speak to a manager when she replied again that she's very busy and can't get the manager because of her line of people. I asked could someone else go get the manager and she said no and to give her a few minutes or call later (this is ridiculous!). I was shocked by what I was experiencing and told her what I told the phone rep and she puts me on hold to get the manager but comes back to the phone to tell me the manager says she's at lunch and to call back later! I call back to the 800 number and explained my terrible experiences to the 2nd phone rep who apologized again. She advises me of my status and calls the store for me where they tell her they don't have the size 6 kids shoe but they have a 7 size. The odd thing is the website says size 7 is sold out. She apologized again for the terrible customer service experiences and said she hopes I find the shoes. I then proceeded to go directly to the store before it closed and went directly to the size 7 shoes of which there were two size 7s available! I was second in line where both the Cashier and the manager were upfront. The manager who was helping NO ONE was acting like she was doing something by playing with the bags and didn't service me, acknowledge me nor cash me out and the the cashier after she finished decides to start cleaning up, locks the doors and breaks down the stuff on the Cashier desk! (OMG)while I'm waiting to pay for my product! I was so tempted to be out of character but I held my course. This was a TERRIBLE FAMOUS FOOTWEAR OUTLET EXPERIENCE!!! YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE SLOTHFUL AND HAVE NO TRAINING OR THEY DON'T USE IT! FIX THIS PROBLEM!"
