"I ordered a tea box with glass cups for my mother for Christmas. I knew it would be late but it came a month late! And the glasses were shattered giving my mother a painful surprise as she threw out the glass and salvaged the tins. I was not given a refund by Martha at customer service because my poor mother did not photograph the shattered sharp edged glass! Absolutely horrific customer service!"

"Williams and Sonoma is one of my youngest daughter store, while in Maryland for the Christmas holidays my wife and I shopped at the one in Annapolis Maryland the people or employees there were excellent, when I go back to Maryland this will be the store I will shop at, my daughter have good taste in stores."

"Walked out feeling judged for returning a cooking item that was delivered in unacceptable conditions (gauges over 3 inches long in the shipping box, dents from being dropped, saturated by the rain and left upside-down in the mud). Took the item to the store were it should have been shipped (a kind individual returned the WRONGLY DELIVERED package to me) and instead of kindly exchanging the item I was scrutinized for not giving the item a “chance”. Not to mention after waiting patiently for an Hour and a Half to have the item returned...during that time the employees multiple times told me how the box is well packed and the item “should be fine”...and stood next to me loudly conversing how they were going to simply open the poorly delivered item and place it on the shelf to be sold to another customer who may or may not be buying a damaged item. Simple Unacceptable."

"If you love kitchen gadgets, this store is dangerous to go to. It's well lit, clean and has a variety of kitchen stuff that you probably don't need. I love their selection of kitchen knives. And their William Sonoma cookbook recipes have never failed me. Great customer service and it always smells like there's goodies baking in the oven."
