"One of the premier golf courses in PA. From the rolling fairways along the creek to the amazing views on the mountain holes, Olde Stonewall is truly a remarkable golfing experience. No place matches the colorful fall views. Truly fantastic views! Thanks to the staff for all their hard work."
"Golfed this course yesterday, October 26th 2023. Everything and everyone was on point. From the moment you dropped your clubs at the bag drop to the time they are back in the rack to be picked up. Be prepared to be in awe of the course and the staff working there. Had high expectations, and they were met within minutes of being on-site. Don't hesitate, trust me it's worth it!!"
"You have to want to get there, it's a hike from about anywhere. Is it worth it? Yes, for the most part. The place is beautiful, with a nice staff, pro shop, and driving range. The layout is exceptional with quite a few scenic memorable holes with different elevations. We played on a Monday morning, so the pace of play was not too bad. However, some of the beauty of the course can also be its biggest detractor. There is very little rough on either side of the fairways, then quickly gets into knee high grasses of various descriptions. This includes around the greens, which can be extremely frustrating. This has to contribute to the slow play others have mentioned. The balls are hard to find and if you do, let's just say it's a shot not often practiced. Gouge and hope. Higher handicapped players will find this course extremely difficult, regardless of which tees are played. The greens were very nice in appearance, but varied from average speed to slow with little consistency. There were lots of subtle breaks. Overall it's a very worthwhile destination, but going in with a lower expectation of shooting a great score and being patient will enhance the experience."
"Beautiful course, difficult greens, friendly staff! Never saw a beverage cart, no restrooms on back 9 (if there is, never saw it), no drinking water on the course and extremely slow play with no ranger around. 5+ hours for golf is ridiculous, no etiquette here, the group in front of us recommended we skip holes to play through, never happen considering we paid a great deal of $ to play, will not return."
"The staff was incredibly kind! They made my experience very enjoyable! from squeezing me in with a couple of regulars for a last minute tee time, to loaning me a pair of pants to meet the course dress code! They even took me back to a couple key holes for some photos after. I went early November and the Course was AMAZING! the colors were to die for! The best, and most pretty round of golf I have ever played!"
