"First time dining at this restaurant. It was bit on the loud side for me. Wasn't too crowded. Food was good but the service was really awful and disappointing. My husband and I decided to sit at the bar because I have a current medical condition that limits me to sit for an extended period at this time. The male bartender seemed to have an attitude and not one smile from him nor friendly. He was running around with his head cut off filling the slips of orders that came through at the bar. The male bartender took our food order and a few minutes later I had ordered an alcoholic drink. When our food came out, not once did he or anyone else come over to ask how things were. Our drinks were left empty for a good 5-10 minutes. The male bartender refilled my husband's water but not mine which did not make any sense and continued refilling the customers' drinks on left side of us. After we had finished our meals, about another 10 minutes later, a female bartender came over and asked if there was anything else. I asked for a refill on my drink of iced tea and for a dessert menu. She proceeded to tell us that they don't have a dessert menu but listed 4-5 dessert items. I ordered one of the desserts and asked for the check at the time. When the check had been placed on the counter in front of us, my husband had the credit card in hand and put it right on the check. It sat there for at least 15 minutes before the female bartender came back to get it but the male bartender had seen it sitting there and felt like he was completely avoiding us. When we got up to leave, the male bartender came over to clear the dishes, he said "have a good night". I felt at the time what was the point of him saying anything to us at the end when I felt like he completely avoided us during our time there. Not sure if we will be back to this place."

"The atmosphere in the restaurant was really immaculate looking. You have a full bar and a decently diverse menu. The prices are about average. More pricey than the more take out oriented locations around the area. Our service from server Christine (i think that's her name) was good. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and the person I was with ordered a cheeseburger. The Buffalo chicken wrap was decent but I wish the chicken were breaded. Overall I'd say this restaurant would get an 89/100"

"This is a fairly new spot. It's quite large, and has several big long tables so would be good for large parties of people. They have a pretty nice covered patio area outside as well with a fountain running along side. Overall a pleasing aesthetic and atmospheric vibe. The service was perfect adequate. The door was of quality ingredients and well proportioned. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. There is a large bar area which seems beer-forward with many beer options and several signature cocktails to choose from. This is probably the nicest place to dine on the square in Wilks-Barre. Off street parking only, though."
