"DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A SHARP AND ACCURATE HAIRCUT!!!! the lady who was cutting my hair had to have instructions given on how to cut my hair IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HAIRCUT by another man. And she clearly saw she left the sides of my hair unmatched to eachother and she let me go without even warning me NONE THE LESS FIX HER MISTAKE and i know that because the second i exited those doors people kept asking why one side of my hair was different frome the other. And during the haircut the lady was starting to cut off parts where i clearly did not specify and i do not think she had a permit to cut hair or even went to school for cutting hair because she did not know what a fade was which is an extremely known mens haircut. and i know that because when i asked for one their was another man telling her how to do it as i say again in the middle of my haircut. And it felt as if walking in customers did not trust any of the barbers other then the asian gentlemen that speaks english because everyone else walking in the store did not trust the other 2 barbers to cut their hair and instead opted to wait for the english speaking gentlemen to finish his current client overall this was a extremely innaproprate and terrible experience"

"Jenny and Justin are so friendly and do an amazing job cutting my hair. They both do a great fade. Each haircut comes with a warm lather shave. Price is extremely reasonable for this area. The last few times I was here, the shop was empty, so I hope they get more business soon as they deserve it. Give this place a try!"

"I just had my first haircut at this newly opened husband and wife team, Barber shop called JJ Barber. Situated between Dunkin Donuts and Papa John’s, this place could not be more conveniently located for coffee and a cut with lunch after that. The owners are Vietnamese. I believe if I’m not mistaken based on what I understood, the Husband is Justin, and the wife is Jenny. They are both very nice and very welcoming. The place is simple, modestly decorated, bright and nicely lit, clean and freshly constructed, and I could see Justin has a well appointed work station, with a team of clippers and scissors at his disposal. He cuts hair well. I can tell by his techniques, that he is not not a novice, and has been cutting hair for years. Obviously, as a first time customer, he was reluctant to just quickly chop away, and was concerned to make sure that he addressed my needs and what I exactly wanted,as he wanted me to have a good first experience. All in all, he just cleaned me up, and my hair is not super difficult to cut. Regardless, I found a Barber that I like, he’s nice and willing to engage in conversation, and I’m hoping that him and his wife succeed. Hopefully this review can give them a running kickstart. As we were getting acquainted, he mentioned that he had the shop sign up from August of 21, and wanted to open the place then, but encountered a lot of setbacks and hurdles moving along with permits and contractors. He stated at one point, he had gotten so frustrated, he almost decided to give up! I’m happy he pulled through and finally got his place of business open. Let’s spread the word and help this nice couple find success in their livelihood and make JJ a favorite barber spot in Gaithersburg Md."
