"Great cheesesteak all around. The problem with it is I don't want to try anything else. I'm not a huge fan of too much sauce, but I would recommend asking for extra on the side. I gave five stars for atmosphere, because there is no dine in option. It's a great little roadside stop to get great sandwich shop food at great prices. Great detour off 222 if your heading either direction"

"First time I stopped. Passed them many times bit never stopped. Pulled over down the street, read the reviews on their steaks and felt I needed to try one. Turned around and pulled in. Best cheesesteak I've had in a long time! Packed with steak meat, not filler. Asked for sweet peppers on top. Very tasty! Tons of fries. Reminded me of growing up in Allentown in the 60s with lots of in-town corner family eating place, before pop-up fast food franchises. Some little places still survive and they always beat franchise fast food. Nothing compares! I'll be back."

"I have loved this place since moving to Bowers in 2005! (We now live in fleetwood) Just recently, our church had a ladies fellowship and ordered 18 cheesesteaks to be ready on a Saturday morning by 10am!! They were nice and fresh. "Esterly's Mertztown, PA. 3rd generation cheesesteak makers. These cheesesteaks have been around the world. I love this area. This is a converted house. I am 90% certain that the grill room use to be someone's bedroom. It is the ‘no grease’ cheesesteak. The 'no grease' makes it a great traveling cheesesteak. $5.90, yes $5.90. At $5.90, if you live in this area you are wasting money if you don't eat here every night. It had the Pennsylvania Dutch soft roll. That is a very good change-of-pace roll. Sneaky good amount of meat for $5.90. Very good amount of cheese and very good cheese melt. With ‘no grease’ you can really taste the meat and the cheese. Nice sauce and I like the big chunks of fried onions but I wish they were mixed in with the meat & cheese. Overall, very good cheesesteak. @Mikeyyyeatz did a very good job."
