"What a beautiful and peaceful place! I recommend arriving on the earlier side so you can get a little peace and quiet. I absolutely loved this trail and will return again."
"It's a great place for a little hike. Mostly flat, but more intense than the rest of pennypack that I have covered. You can bring a stroller, but it's rough going on one. Better to bring a carrier if your want to go far."
"This a great alternative getaway and tucked away hiking paradise that doesn’t require a long drive from the suburbs of Montgomery County. Smaller than Wissahickon, yet plenty of beautiful views, a horse stable, and a green house garden with multiple bird feeders to watch exotic species from a few lounge chairs to relax in. Hopefully the new restrooms will open soon, but at least you’ll find porta potties. Unfortunately because of rules of preservation to protect the birds, plants, and wildlife, dogs are NOT allowed."
"Surprisingly pleasant escape from the busy suburban life & neighborhoods. Nice to find a nature preserve so close to Philadelphia"
"Love this park the trails are super clean an open you can see the deer when they walk around. Which is great for the kids. Theirs a ton of animal activity between the birds, deer and whatever else you are lucky to encounter. The water is wonderful, constantly flowing and clean my dog loves swimming in it and I'm quite sure people love to also. So for a nice day hike(10+ miles) I definitely recommend this trail. And on the plus side the trout are stocked (check when they stock). The stream has some nice fishing holes so if you enjoy fishing your chances are pretty good here. Thank you for reading my post enjoy your day hikes take care Rob and trooper."
