"We went tubing on a hot July Friday - there was plenty of parking. The tube rental is so close to the river and super easy - it probably took me less than 3 minutes to get the tube, pay for it and walk it back to the trail. They'll even hold your keys while you're on the water! The tubes themselves are sturdy and the river is the ONLY place to be on a summer day. We walked the the further location and coasted down the river for three hours. There were a handful of places we had to get out and walk because it was too shallow, but this was all part of the fun. Bring your drinks in a mesh bag and let them drag behind you for easy refrigeration! Thanks Monkton Bike for making this trip that much easier."
"Took the family tubing,we walked until we saw 2 double blue flags on a tree,took that trail, and it was at least 2 1/2 hour tubing , it was awesome, we go again, I'm very tired an sleepy after that..."
"Great tubing but GET THERE EARLY if you want parking and tubes. We got there at 9am, an hour before the tube rental opened. Street parking was still fairly available but we got a spot in the parking lot, lucky us! TUBERS CAN NOT PARK in any spaces in the parking lot that say "cafe". They closely watch these spaces and you will be confronted, kicked out and ticketed. >>> Do the further walk to the 2nd blue mark for a longer float which took us close to 2 1/2 hours."
"I love tubing here. The rates are good and the walk and drop on and off site are convenient. Only issue is the street where we used to park now has no parking signs all over it. This is of no fault to the rental place of course. Today, the parking lot was closed and there is only a small area of the road you can park on. After driving an hour and 20min to get there we left because we couldn’t find parking. We got there at 10 when the tubing rentals opened but the park is a state park so there’s not really a known time to get there to be able to get parking. So much for birthday tubing."
