"Very busy old fashioned diner with lots of diner food on the menu. Our party of 6, including my handicapped husband who uses a walker, was seated quickly. Our server was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I really can't think of any downsides to our experience there. Definitely do recommend."

"We were driving through the area, in the pouring rain, when we saw this vision of stainless steel goodness from the road and decided to stop in -- so glad we did. It was the perfect lunch spot for me and my 7 yo daughter! Here's a pic of lunch. My meal came with a cup of home-made chicken orzo soup but, after a tiny, tentative taste, she promptly snatched from me and devoured, lol. So, no pic of that. Anyway, this spot allowed me to break down the entire diner "thing" for my daughter. IMHO, having grown up in New Jersey, the foundation of a proper diner is good food at reasonable prices, with friendly service. It's got counter seating, booths, and tables. A robust menu with tons of options and specials, ideally open (and patronized) 24 hours/day. Ideally a facade of gleaming stainless steel and enough neon so passers by at night know what's up. And it boasts all walks of life inside enjoying their meals. The Exeter Family Restaurant has ALL of that. Stop in!"

"Haven’t been here for years. Found its even better now if thats possible. So many items on the menu we had a tough time choosing. Soup and terrific salad bar are included with many choices. Our waitress was very prompt and fun. She even refilled our ice teas without us asking. Lorenzo spproved!!"
