Reviews
"The chicken pot pie was homemade with homemade noodles and incredibly spectacular a fun place a little bit rowdy, but that is all part of it. Incredible jukebox also and a nice menu all homemade food."
"Not what it used to be. Bland food and no atmosphere, sad since I used to come here as a kid and had fond memories. The servers were nice and attentive but we were the only ones eating in the dining room at 6pm on a Saturday."
"This place was great. Last minute we stopped here after the train ride around the corner and they sat 4 adults and 6 kids very quickly. The waitress was very patient. I recommend the Kempton cheesesteak with fries. My daughter had the kids chicken tenders and they were hand breaded and had great flavor. To-go we took home loaded fries and garlic parm wings. Everything was so good!"
"Unfortunately, the one waitress working was run ragged with large tables of old people and families with kids. She was very patient with everyone, but it did extend our lunchtime about 40 minutes. Not her fault. Food we had was all homemade (Meat loaf, pork and kraut, mashed and potato stuffing. Glazed carrots were even real. Food was not highly seasoned, but the place is obviously geared towards locals, and it's not the kind of area where sophisticated palates are the rule. Good, unpretentious stuff in HUGE portions for low prices. Hard to order a sandwich when an extra two bucks gets you two sides with an entree. Especially hand crafted ones. If you're visiting Hawk Mountain it's worth stopping, but allocate extra time."
"Food is incredibly delicious! Service is absolutely superior to anything you will find in any chain restaurant in the city. Michaela is a very attentive, hard working, and entertaining server! We really enjoyed every aspect of our dinner!"
