"If you like BBQ you have to try this place! We had a large group and were able to try many items. Everything was seasoned nicely and smoked just right. The burnt ends were superb! Ribs, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork were all delicious! The Mac &cheese was creamy and flavorful. The brisket chili was tasty. Service was great! Give it a try! We’ll be back!"

"You Need To Know? If you like BBQ, if you like smoked meats, then you absolutely MUST try Butcher Bob's! We arrived around 6:00 on a friday & we were able to seat ourselves. We ordered the Brunswick Stew, Burnt ends, a brisket cheesesteak, & 1/2 rack of ribs. The burnt ends also known as BBQ Candy was mouth watering & melted in your mouth. The rack of ribs were juicy & great with just the rub, but when you add one of the 7 sauces it takes it to an entirely new level. The Stew was a winter warmer. It's hearty & filling & can serve as a meal. I would also like to add that the service from Amanda was as sweet as the BBQ sauce. She was so kind & helpful, her hospitality added to the southern BBQ vibe. Mt Top people need to become regulars! Now You Know! -TBH"

"Just finished my first meal from here. Unimpressed. Got ribs chicken a side of Mac n cheese and corn bread. The sides were the stars of the meal. Cornbread wasn't bad. Wasn't dry taste great. The Mac and cheese was a small 4oz side that amounted to one mouthful but was really good. Smokey flavor but not over powering. The ribs however were like rubber. Not fall off the bone tender you'd expect from a BBQ place. The chicken was dry and both items were lacking any amount of flavor outside of smoke. Probably won't try again. These results are easily doable by anyone with basic knowledge of smoking meats. If you're craving BBQ head down to mission BBQ or smokey bones."

"I have gone to this restaurant 3 times so far and the first time it was good, the last 2 times the chicken choked me with how dry it is, got ribs the last time and ended up with Charred meat that was clearly burnt not BBQ. I wouldn't recommend it. The burnt ends are okay, cornbread is a bit soggy, Mac and cheese is good but the portion is literally 2 bites. This was my last time going here for BBQ anything."

"From meeting the owner to Samantha our waitress, what a fabulous place! The barbecue we had the combination plater, And Bob himself brought out some burnt tips. Amazing they are to die for. Wow! What experience the chicken had smoked flavor through and through the ribs, Fabulous smoked on site. Everything was fresh and hot service was fabulous. The beers were ice cold and frosted mugs. No complaints here for the price. Really worth every nickel for surviving through the covid pandemic. His little place is a classic and if you're looking for the realest barbecue that you can find in Pennsylvania come to this place, definitely worth it! And we drove all the way from Wisconsin to enjoy this!"
