"The food was really good. The service was good as well. The three stars are due to the fact they charge for soda refills. They also give you small cups with a lot of ice. I can see if it was in the bar but not in a restaurant. This is not the 70s or 80s when places charged. No other restaurant does this. They also do not tell you they charge for the refills. Even fast food restaurants give you free refills now. Maybe if they were not so cheap and gave free refills they could be 4 or 5 stars."
"First time here, hope to get back before heading home. Service was excellent, servers constantly checking with you and very friendly. Food was very good, as were the drinks. Prices were on point, lots of coices on the menu and daily specials. The only negative was limited parking."
"It was slow probably because it was a week day and lunch. But it was nice. Needs aired out, stale cig smoke from when they did allow smoking. But our server Bambi was really sweet! I had a crispy chicken caesar salad and my hubby had French onion soup. We were never there before but will definitely visit again"
"We came here for lunch. I got a mimosa to drink and I got the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Along with the French onion soup. The soup was very good, a little too salty for my taste but that's personal preference. The grill cheese was yummy but the French fries seemed like they came out of a frozen bag but seasoned. My partner got fried shrimp and fries with the cordon blue bites. He had no complaints. You can definitely smell smoke here even though it's not a smoking bar anymore. They do have the smoke eater fans going which is nice. The bartender Jamie and the waitress were very kind and did a wonderful job. We will be definitely be back."
"This place has that historic (opened 1790, been owned by same family for over 70 years) small town charm. If only these walls could talk! Service was excellent from both a prompt as well as friendly perspective. Burger and fries as well as chicken parm were great. Prices were very reasonable. Mens room was run down. They have two pool tables and a really big and nice fireplace. They also have a jukebox. This is a great place to grab lunch on a Saturday after touring the classic auto mall. Other patrons seemed nice. Ill definitly be back!"
