"One of our favorite strolling and dog-walking spots at the Navy Yard. The central green is bordered by native plants. In summer 2022, Group X installed a new outdoor permanent sculpture called Alpha Sacred Beings. It's a life-size, beaded Parasaurolophus, created in an artistic partnershp with the Lenni-Lenape Tribal nation. The dinosaur's hips are circled in a wampum belt. Beautifully detailed."

"There is something spiritual about being near water with its sense of stillness and natural ability to reflect light at different times of the day, especially sunset. This place offers tranquility, opportunities to jog, walk or simply stroll and enjoy those thoughtful melancholy moments. The occasional startling roar of low flying overhead planes excites little children and disturbingly reminds us of noise pollution in the twenty first century. Fisherfolks and birdwatchers also appreciate this ideal setting within the city to enjoy their hobbies."

"It is a nice quiet place. People mind their own and there is plenty of space to let the kids and or dogs to run around. Fishing is good. Catfish, stripers, whites, carp and perch. Kids love the planes overhead and all sorts of boats that travel though."
