Reviews of Sandy Run Park - Springfield Township Montco
"Good place to fish. Some days are tough. Do k can get crowded easily but still enjoy the scenic view."
"Small and peaceful!! Lots of fish but hard to catch."
"In the late '70s this was a test site for NADC Warminster. There used to be a long pier out to the middle of the quarry. At the end of the pier there was a floating building. This site was off limits to all but military and civilian contractors. The contractors worked there on weekdays and on the weekends we sailors were allowed to check out a key to the gate to use the facility. The Bass and Bluegills were huge but hard to catch. The water was very clear. The trick was to use goldfish for bait. The Bass couldn't resist them!"
"A very nice surprise. I didn't know there was a fishing pier practically in my back yard!"
"Amazing and peaceful. Great fishing area."
