"After a long weekend of hard work on the mountain building our cabin I was starving for some good grubs. I pulled up there at around 6pm, they cooked up some delicious eggs and and 12 strips of bacon with a smile. Great place for basic groceries, beer and whatnots...Good people!"
"I only gave 3 stars because this place was to expensive $16.00 dollars for a whole sub. 7 dollars for 12 donuts and 2.40 cents for a Pepsi. And a bag of chips was price 4.09 they charge 4.12 so I was thinking because I don't go there very often if they over charge me because of that I didn't realize how much things were because I was a out of towner. I well definitely not be going back.."
"Doris and her husband shared that they had just celebrated their 30th anniversary. Of course, I told them I wanted a picture of them kissing each other and they were into it. Thus, “The kiss” photo! Such a sweet couple with a labor of love, the Deli and Grocery! Lots of snacks and party foods! They also have beautiful laser crafted carved wood gifts and decor. This is a hidden gem! Don’t miss it!"
"Nice, neat and clean country store with just about anything you need when you pass by to your cabin if you are from the city. I have been passing through for over 20 years! The staff are friendly and helpful. The homemade sandwiches are lovely and tasty. Salute to Doris and all who made this store a favorite gathering place in this small town."
"Honestly any place that sells stuff that glorifies the confederacy loses points from me. I got the turkey sandwich and it was on soft white bread… The kind that when you’re a little kid you can roll up into a dough ball. Really mediocre. Probably should’ve driven the extra 10 minutes into Berkeley Springs where I could’ve picked up a few grocery items at the quality organic grocery store or at the Lion and something tasty to eat it one of the number of cafés. Fairfax coffeehouse and the Beehive would have been worth the trip. Did I mention selling items in the store that glorifies the confederacy also left a sour taste in my mouth."
