"This place needs some serious upkeep. Trails are not labeled some may even be overgrown now. If you pick the wrong way to go onto a loop, i.e., if not from the wooded area to the meadow, you may not even find the trail into the wooded area. I've been to many other Natural Lands' preserves, and this one is just subpar."
"I would rate this trail a medium to hard, there's some spots your along the ridge and have to hop to rocks so wear good shoes. In the beginning the trail has a point you have to cross the water an there is a metal wire to hold on to when you cross, been helpful. Trail took a hit after the recent storm and needs a little work in a few spots but other then that a very nice trail. Perfect during fall"
"Quiet and off the beaten path nature preserve, strewn with diabase boulders, rare plants and a little known, unadvertised Important Bird Area, as identified by the National Audubon Society along with evidence of Lenni Lenape activity i.e. Native American ceremonial bowls, artifacts, documented history, etc. No public bathrooms available, no street lighting and limited public parking...still worth an afternoon visit. Stay on the marked trails."
"Beautiful hiking although it's a bit challenging trying to determine what is private property and what trails you can hike."
"A perfect place. My grandfather bought it in 1919 and we sold it to Natural Lands in 1986. They have done a wonderful job of preserving the breathtaking beauty that my grandfather first saw as a boy. Many happy family times were spent at Fulshaw Craeg."
