"I recently responded to an ad posted on Facebook by Highwater Hobbies for a gently used kayak. I explained that I live 5 hours away but that I really want to buy the kayak asap! The owner was very transparent about the condition of the product, and he allowed me to meet him at his shop THAT NIGHT! He let me browse his other wares, I purchased a new paddle, he tossed me a few stickers, then he helped me load my kayak, even took time to teach me a basic knot while securing the kayak, we sat for a while and spoke about bodies of water in his area of WV, and his experiences kayaking in NY. Don is a really cool guy! Over all my experience with Highwater Hobbies was like no other shopping experience, call to make an appointment to go check out the shop, his customer service is above and beyond! I will definitely be planning a trip to visit again to shop and possibly go on one of his guided tours!"
