Reviews of Pioneer Credit Recovery
"Find a way around these people. They are completely inept. I have been trying to pay them for 3 weeks. Everytime I call to make a payment the amount owed goes up $500.00. They cant account for the change in the amount. They just say call back tomorrow and we'll have an itemization of the money owed. I call back and never receive the same person or amount."
"PCA here. Do not send money to this company. Have your accountant or you call the Department of Labor / IRS First. They just tried to scam one of my clients with more than $5,000 in "debt". I repeat, DO NOT SEND MONEY, THIS IS A SCAM. Call the government agencies first and have them cleared out your situation."
"I don't even want to leave 1 star. They are collecting for the Dept of Treasury on behalf of USPS, who I previously worked for. I don't owe USPS anything. They, however, owe me for lost wages on a work comp claim (the claim was filled with OWCP, but my supervisor always managed to "misplace" my CA-7). While I'm trying to get that sorted, an AWG was issued, taking enough of my check that I'm going to get evicted. I filed my dispute on July 6. The AWG stopped, but a new one was issued on July 11, despite their paperwork stating they "must stop collection on any amount you dispute until we send you information that shows you owe the debt." They've sent me nothing. They haven't scheduled the hearing that has to take place in order for me to have their decision reversed. I was notified by my payroll department today that the new AWG order was received. I immediately left work to take care of it (losing even more money) and was on hold for over TWO HOURS until their office was closed. I hate these people. I hate the way they do business. I hate the unaccountable power they have over people's lives."
"The keep sending me letters under the wrong name and calling me with a caller ID that says Navient. They are just a collections firm that is using public records to try to get people to pay them a commission on top of what you may owe in state taxes. They have NOT been commissioned officially to collect anything exhibited by their sloppy collection attempts and fake phone numbers. They literally are sending me letters under someone else's name- when I open the letter they have what the person owes in taxes listed plus like $1500 they want to collect on top but you pay them directly. I think this is where the scam is. They might pay new jersey but not the amount you paid them and not on time from what I am reading. They are aggressive because they think we are dumb enough to trust them. If i owed money, why wouldn't I pay NJ directly and not some random PO box in Moorestown?"
"This is an absolute disgrace of a company. I will do everything in my power to have them reported to the Business Bureau for an investigation under "fraud" "misrepresentation" "confusing the public" and lastly "lieing" I dealt with Annamarie - was not upfront about her company - told me i needed to submit a payment. I also found out they charge fees and penalties for no reason. I kept sending checks and the post master kept returning them telling me to becareful that this may be a fradulent place or scam. I don't write reviews - but this place should be in jail"
