"I have a 1.5 year old Chipoo…Long Hair Chihuahua/Toy Poodle. Imagine the matting and growth for a fidgety little guy that won’t let me trim around his eyes or face and doesn’t like for us to brush him! I simply will never take our little Milo to another groomer as he had a bad experience his first go around as a puppy at another local place but Hera’s does such a great job and they take good care of him because he isn’t traumatized when I pick him up and he licks and pets them there which gives me peace! They really do an awesome job! I read some of the negative comments about the phone issues and such but that hasn’t been my experience. The first visit I had last spring, we just wandered in to try getting an appointment as every local place had months long if any waits and I wasn’t going back to the first place as they butchered and traumatized him! She told me they were booked for months but she said “No worries” and took him right then. I was so relieved especially once I saw their work. Once we were in, we were good to go and they’ve booked our follow ups with no issues. I would suggest just walking in and talking to them to make the initial appt and just doing the same if a rescheduling is needed. They don’t have a huge staff and they’re always booked and busy. The quality work is worth it and recognizing that it’s more of a mom and pop shop than a franchise or highly staffed establishment might help to lessen expectations of technology and on demand response and services. Again, I wouldn’t take my little guy any place else!"

"The only groomer we could find that can groom and style our Maltese the way we love it! Hera takes such good care of the dogs. Besides the skill in styling and grooming, which are excellent, she is also incredibly gentle with them, and we can completely trust her to not push beyond what the dog can handle (some groomers do this in the interest of speed). We brought our senior dog here who was very sensitive and was always afraid of the grooming place we went to before, but he was never afraid to come to Hera's and was always sweet and affectionate to her! The level of care that is appearant makes for a very strong recommendation."
