"I had heard several years ago that the state had reintroduced native brook trout to Crabby Creek. Being a trout fisherman I was curious and finally came over for a visit. The park is idyllic especially when you consider its location amongst a lot of development. I doubt I will ever fish here. I wouldn't want to disturb the tranquility or the trout. This is a true suburban gem."
"This place is a little quiet spot to explore the creek and just be in the stillness. It’s not a great ‘walking’ spot necessarily because (a) it’s all uneven churned up paths (formally a road use in the early 1900s) and it runs about .25 miles in either direction from the area to park but it’s quiet and the creek is beautiful and the air is fresh so great for photographers or kids that could explore the creek or well, even active adults looking for a little fresh air and don’t need to burn calories ☺️"
