"Made a reservation for a specific table some 2 weeks in advance, a confirmation of which I received on my phone. However, when we showed up, our table was occupied by other people. With a lot of attitude, thus demonstrating both rudeness and unprofessionalism in addition to incompetence, we were informed that our only options were to either get a different table or wait till the other people were done. It was almost like we were the ones who had created a problem and were inconveniencing them. No efforts whatsoever were made to make up for their error. Appalled by the way we were being treated, we left. Later on, I decided to call the owner of this establishment, thinking he couldn't possibly approve of the amateurism and rude ways of his personnel. Alas, waste of time. At first, he tried to deny that we had a reservation. When I told him I had proof, he said the guy who had put in our reservation "should not have done that" and "no longer worked there because of stuff like that". Couple more things this man told me: "I'm not going to offer you a free glass, because this was clearly not our fault" and "if you don't like our level of service, go to a different restaurant." And that's exactly what we had done. We ended up going to J. Corks, where we received an excellent meal and outstanding service, even without a reservation. So when it comes to fine dining, that's where we will go from now on and that's where we recommend everyone else to go."

"Aimee did a wonderful job taking care of our party of 4. She anticipated our needs and was there whenever we needed anything. Her recommendations were spot on, and suggestions appreciated. It was a fabulous meal and experience from beginning to end. We will be back!"

"Had early dinner at the Venue for the first time and last time on New Year's eve. Service was very poor and food ...not so good. Our waitress got the wines mixed up, people that arrived well after us were served their food before us and our checks were wrong. When we pointed this out she had a bit of an attitude. The artichoke cakes had a lot of inedible pieces of artichoke in them, the lobster bisque tasted like watered down tomato soup with something finely shredded in it. The twin lobster tails were very good but my mashed potatoes were cold. The cheesecake was the best I've ever had. The menu was preselected, the price was a set price and the 20% gratuity was automatically included. Since that was the case everything, except the cheesecake, should have been so much better. Oh and the lady that sets up the tables kept bumping in to my chair every time she had to get the wine glasses from the shelves. Ugh..."

"My husband and I went to The Venue for a dinner date this past weekend and enjoyed it. From the moment we walked in the door everyone was very friendly and inviting. We were quickly seated as we had reserved a table through Google, 2 days prior. I highly recommend making a reservation, because they get busy and the space is not large. We were given a glass bottle of water and our drink order was taken quickly after that. We decided on the beef wellington for our first course and it was delicious. For our dinner entree, I had sea bass and my husband had the surf and turf. Everything was great, albeit a little pricey for the portion sizes, but I do not have any complaints. My husband’s filet was slightly over-done (he ordered it medium-rare and it was closer to medium-well), but he enjoyed it nonetheless. We will be back, even if it is to have drinks at the bar to catch a game."
