"What a fun and easy spot for a family getaway! We love going here, especially in the winter months, for the convenience of being able to do everything under one roof. We typically start our mornings with a trip to the fitness center followed by Starbucks coffee before getting ready for the massive water park. After getting our fill of water play where no sunscreen is required, the arcade and shopping keep the fun going while staying dry. We love food from the burger place, Italian place, and Mexican place and love having the variety. Don’t forget to stop for your last bite of some ice cream or confectioneries before tucking in."
"It was great, things were a little overpriced but hey, it’s a resort. What do you expect? The hotel room was clean and there are some good activities in the area. My one complaint is the lack of stuff in the room. Not that much furniture, no clock, and no USB-C ports. I’ve been to hotels with a price range of 100-200 dollars that have had all of these."
"Kalahari was nice, but very expensive. The lines in the water park were too long, their drinks and food was way too expensive and I went with my infant whom couldn’t get in the water. It’s smells like they use too much chlorine until the smell of it burns your eyes. I also feel like the room was so shabby looking with uncomfortable beds. I appreciate the fact that their are a few different pools and locations for smaller kids."
"We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. The hotel room with two queen beds was spacious enough but didn't make up for the fact that my 18mth old ended up with horrible rashes all over his face from sleeping on the sofa bed. The first night we had dinner at Brandberg's which was probably some of the most bland food we ever had. I ordered the chicken paillard which is literally a tasteless hard piece of breaded chicken with some lettuce mixed with mayo on top. Figured maybe a quick dessert at The Last Bite would be better, but even that was disappointing. Everything is either overly sweet or not quite there. The silver lining of the trip was the water park. We rented a cabana and that was nice. Overall the waterpark was very clean, lots of areas for kids of all ages to enjoy themselves. We decided to leave Saturday night instead of Sunday and ordered food from The Final Cut which was actually very good! Overall the price wasn't worth it and we probably wouldn't go back and stay in the hotel."
