Bethlehem Municipal Water Authority

The Bethlehem Municipal Water Authority, located at 7125 Poho Poco Drive in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, is a political corporate body established in 1938. The Authority owns the Water System and leases it to the City of Bethlehem, which manages all aspects of water treatment, rate setting, and maintenance. The Authority's Board, consisting of five members appointed by the Mayor, oversees the operation and financial management of the water system. The Authority also manages the 22,000 plus acre watersheds in Carbon and Monroe Counties. With a full-time Executive Director and dedicated staff, the Authority ensures the efficient and effective delivery of clean water to the residents of Bethlehem.
