Luke's Falls is a popular tourist attraction located at the D & L Trail in Weatherly, Pennsylvania, United States. This institution is part of the Lehigh Gorge State Park, which features a deep, steep-walled gorge carved by a river, thick vegetation, rock outcroppings, and stunning waterfalls. Reviews of Luke's Falls
"A small but still beautiful waterfall located on the D & L trail. The trail is biking and walking friendly. If you're visiting Luke's Falls, you should also check out Buttermilk Falls on the other side of the entrance/parking area."
"Beautiful park. The trail is pretty flat, so it's ideal for the whole family. A little advice, the large waterfall is pretty far from the entrance, about 5-6 miles. The best way to get there seems to be by bicycle. A bike can be rented in town."
"Nice and easy walk along the D&L trail. It’s 0.3 miles from the Rockport access parking lot and literally takes 5mins to walk there."
"Very pretty, not far from the parking and all flat walking. It was very busy with bikes on the trail so keep alert if you are walking with a dog! It was a Saturday but I have been there in the early spring and you will still see some people. It was also a dam release weekend so had to park farther away from the trail head and walk down. There are schedules online for the Lehigh River dam releases if you want to avoid the parking jam from kayakers and rafters."
"So Luke falls was downstream of where you park at the Weatherly Lehigh Gorge. We went the day after a tropical storm dumped a ton of rain in the area. However, the falls were small and a 2 min. walk from the parking area. If you go upstream there are more waterfalls and they're better! However, we did find a boat load of mushrooms if that's your thing!"
