"When I go is no people around 9 in the morning The view it’s nice you can get fresh air"
"Do Not Enter sign at entrance is odd while gate is open and tracks from vehicles are prevalent throughout grounds. No other signs identifying Nature Preserve could be found. Also, reportedly, there's a memorial plaque on rocks near split but, did not see it. Dilapidated poles, cables, etc from previous skiing lift are still on hillside. .... After autumn leaves have shed, view from observation deck can be hundred plus miles."
"I have to this place five times in the last 11 years. I have watched this place fall way down below their original standards. It use a wonderful place to come with the family. Now they are charging outrageous resort fees that they do not deliver on. Yes, they have a theater that they only show old movies and the seats are so worn out that that back was hurting by the time we left. Yes, there is a bowling alley here but it is hard to find the people that run it bc they hide in an office on the other side of the room. Yes, they have an arcade but half the machines do not work. Yes, the have 5 pool tables but 2 have large rips in the greens and 1 table is leaning. They are suppose to have an indoor mini golf, laser tag, and ice skating rink plus tennis courts. Unfortunately, they had a gun show the week I came and they did one poor job putting the room back together. In fact, for the whole week after, only one tennis court got put up and 6 out of 9 mini golf courses for put up in an extremely dirty room. No indoor skating rink, no laser tag. For this I had to pay twenty-five dollars a day extra resort fees. If you had a 2 bedroom it would have double that. Like it said, the main pool was shut down the last 2 days. I gave this 2 stars bc the people are very nice and really try to help but their hands are tied. Bel Air, who bought it out, is trying to get the people who come to pay for the repairs instead of investing it themselves. The mgr did give us free water park tickets to try and make up for the horrible fees they are charging. It is unfortunate but I will probably not be back. It is a beautiful area and, at one time, a beautiful resort but not now."
"Do not enter sign is for your car, not you. Simply park there and go wak in right ahead around the mound. You will see the wooden stairs to the top of the rock. But the split rock is clearly visible on the ground next to the stairs."
"Cool spot to visit if you just wanna go see places or do things without having to pay a penny. The place was actually closed when we went, but we are rebels and went anyway lol. Enjoy the pics."
