"I submitted auto loan application with PFCU. Was instantly approved and told the turn around to hear back from a loan officer to complete the process was 24 hours. Didn't hear anything after a day so called back, waited over 30 minutes to talk to a rep who said my loan officer was on the line with another customer and would call me right back. Never heard back. Called back again the next day, waited another 30 minutes to connect with a rep who said the same thing, this time with a nasty attitude, that the loan officer would call me right back. Never heard back. After 3 days of waiting for a callback (and the dealership waiting for payment) I submitted a loan application with Bank of America instead, where approval was instant and I called and spoke with a loan officer promptly. BoA process start to finish was less than 30 minutes. Rate was the same as what PFCU offered. Funds were delivered to the dealership electronically. Completely painless and straight forward process. A full week after submitting the PFCU loan app I finally hear back from my PFCU loan officer to go over the loan application process and I tell her the car was purchased through another lender and has been sitting in my garage for 5 days already. This is why the credit unions are losing to big banks. The credit union process is clunky, poor customer service, the timelines are too slow and the rates they provide aren't competitive."
"well since theres no way to send anyone an email ill just leave this here until someone reaches out to me. On November 30, 2023 at around 9:30am, I contacted your customer service hotline to inquire about a missing amount of $500 from my account. Unfortunately, the interaction with the agent, whose name I regretfully did not catch, left me thoroughly dissatisfied and, frankly, shocked at the level of unprofessionalism I encountered. During the call, the agent appeared to be frustrated and impatient from the beginning. I understand that customer service can be challenging, but I believe that all customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when seeking assistance with sensitive financial matters. To make matters worse, I was placed on hold and the call was abruptly ended by the agent without providing any resolution or even attempting to address my concerns. This abrupt termination of the call has left me with more questions than answers and has only heightened my anxiety about the missing funds. As a loyal customer of PFCU, I have always held your institution in high regard for its commitment to customer satisfaction. However, this recent experience has left me questioning the quality of service and professionalism I can expect from your customer service team. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter to identify the agent in question and to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address their behavior. Additionally, I urgently seek your assistance in resolving the issue of the missing $500 from my account. I believe that prompt and decisive action is necessary to rectify this situation and to restore my faith in PFCU. I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
"Wanted 20 bucks to cash a 45 dollar check without an account and despite not having an account they demand your social security number to charge the 20 bucks for cashing the check."
"Wow I can’t believe all the bad reviews now it makes sense !!! After 10 years I’m closing my accounts! I never had over drafts on my accounts until recently I call them to see if I can get the fees waived as I have enough money to cover the amount over drafted, they said no we can’t.I have 2 other credit union banks and they just take it out of my savings to cover the amount with NO fees!! This bank is just like all the other banks that are just charging up customers with fees! Why is this a union bank again? Dissatisfied!"
"I just got off the phone with Janet she’s rude and disrespectful. I never had to provide proof to any bank about a transaction I wished to dispute. I have no idea if she’s empathetic or nonchalant, but I don’t understand how she missed valid points in which or why it was I wanted to dispute my transaction with Priceline. I felt like she tried to talk down to me mentioning her personal experience with flying and it wasn’t about her. Like if I’m telling you I paid additional money for bags and to get my money back in case anything happens with the flight. She kept saying I need proof you talked to the merchant in order to process the refund at this point I’m ready to switch banks."
