"The owner is one of the sweetest people ! therefore his menu reflects his soul when it comes to his delicious brunch options love the vibes and the lattes ! This spot is new and we just got blessed ."
"Waited for a seat. Not a problem, only a short 15 minute wait. Once seated we were given a bottle of water and a menu. It was quite some time before the 1 waitress (really only one) came to get our drink order. At that time we noticed people that were seated after us,already had drinks and had placed their food orders. So we gave our food order too. I had the Einstein French toast, and my boyfriend had the Helio omlette. The food came out in descent time . Both were very good. I also had a Carmel latte which was delicious. This is a small restaurant with very little staff. The food is good. You have to be patient if you plan to eat here. I would go back again to try other dishes."
"Wonderful new cafe in Pittsburgh. Perfect for brunch and lunch. The ambiance is just perfect, and the decor is well curated. Now the more important aspect...the Food!! So delicious and filling! Loved the name choices on the menu, and the speed of service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for brunch spots in the Pittsburgh. Definitely making this spot a regular on my list."
"This restaurant is one of the best brunch restaurants in Pittsburgh. I know this restaurant in Instagram and go there for brunch two days in a row. I am down to go again. The design of the restaurant is cool. The dishes are named after famous people. For example, the egg Benedict dishes are named after famous artist and the sandwiches are named after famous musicians. Also, the restroom has photos of famous actors and actress. For the two times I visited the restaurant, my friends and I ordered the Picasso (egg Benedict), the Einstein (French toast) and Ceasar (omelettes). An interesting fact about the dishes there is that you get salad by default instead of potato, which makes the dishes a lot healthier compared to other brunch restaurants. The Picasso (egg Benedict) is well cooked and the sauce is creamy. The combination of the egg, the smoked salmon and the scone is well balanced. This is the first time I do not want to finish a dish because it taste so good. The portion of this dish is not big, so I high recommend people to try it out if they are not super hungry. My friend ordered the Eistien (French toast). He expected it to be the sweet french toast. It turned out to be a more savory one. There are two pieces of French toast. Both are pan fried and they are crispy. In the middle, they put in some tomatoes and cheese. On top of the french toast are two sunny side up eggs. You can eat the toast with the eggs so that you can taste the crispy toast, cheese and the creamy eggs at the same time. The Ceasar (omelettes) is the reason I go to the restaurants the second day. I saw people ordered it and they looked tasty and in large portion. The omelette is served with two toasts. I choose the sour dough. For people who do not like the sour flavor of the dough, the source flavor of the sour dough is not intense. The omelette is is soft. By putting the smoked salmon and omelette on top of the sour dough, I can enjoy the crispy source dough, the soft omelette and the tasty smoked salmon at the same time, which is super enjoyable. I also saw a lot of people order the cinnamon balls, which I really want to try!"
"Famous Cafe is hands down my top pick for breakfast in Pittsburgh! It's not just a meal, it's a unique and unforgettable experience. What sets this place apart is their menu, which is cleverly named after famous artists, musicians, and poets, and crafted by the owner, making it truly one-of-a-kind, something you won't find anywhere else on this planet. What truly makes Famous Cafe exceptional, though, is the attention to detail. They've got it all perfectly arranged, and you can tell that they pour their heart into every aspect of your visit. But it's not just about the food; the staff here is a class apart. They're not just friendly, they're like friends you've known forever. They know their regulars by name, and it gives you that warm, welcoming feeling every time you walk through the door. Oh, and did I mention that they have a dog-friendly outside area? Yep, you can bring your fur babies along for the experience too. And then there's the coffee. Let me tell you, it's not just good, it's exceptional. It's simply impossible to get enough of their delicious food and the overall delightful experience they offer."
