"Nice spot to get out of the sun on a hot summer day, and sit by some big water. Dog friendly ( 6' leash) and a few trails down to the water for the more adventurous."
"Kelly's Lock was once a pathway for giant barges it stood some 30ft at spots in the 50's a high traffic swimming hole as they dove off the lock into deep water but the lock was removed it's a good white water spot in spring or after storms fast water but shallow in summer only reaching two feet in most places you.can walk across the river just above the two small islands formed by the river, fishing alright but there are far better places close by."
"It is beautiful! Found it cause my son was getting antsy in the car. Because it is cold and not overly large, we didn't stay for too long. I will definitely be making so to return in the winter, spring and summer."
