"This place is like home for me. I grew up 4 miles down the road. Fished the dam since I was little. Caught my first rainbow trout here when I was about 8yrs old. Now my kids enjoy the dam and all it has to offer. We spend many nights star gazing as well."
"Came here on a whim, and was not dissapointed. There can be a lot to do here on a summer day. I came on a mild / colder day and witnessed the dam water table about halfway drained. It was neat to explore, though I would like to explore more when it is lower. Plenty of picnic tables and parking spaces, and seems to be a spot for local fishing. Ill have to try catfishing here in the summer time, while camping somewhere nearby. Check it out, I dont think many would be disappointed."
"Having visited this dam multiple times it is always a surprise when you drive down the hill to find where the water level is at for that visit. This time it was full and flow through the water gates feeding the Leigh River and offered great photo opportunities. If you're a picnicker, fisher person, boater, playing 'fetch' with your dog or other type of water user you'll love the expanse of the lake behind the dam enjoying the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. Enjoy the different conditions captured with my camera and the park too."
