"I wish there was an option for zero stars. I’ve been a vegan for almost a third of my life, I am an experienced animal owner from snakes, to cats, to dogs and horses. There’s a lot of things people could say they don’t like about me, I’m sure; but inhumane/cruel/uncaring for animals is not one of them. The MANAGER at this petco decided to cut me off and chastise me for not wanting to spend $150 on a beta fish.. she said it was cruel and inhumane to just “dump them in a bowl to die” and that I wouldn’t be allowed to have a fish if I didn’t want to spend $150. Mind, what I said to prompt this was “I don’t want to spend so much money to set up for one baby beta fish” and she cut me off with her arrogant, condescending, misinformed response. Instead of offering cost effective solutions, she has decided to take a shaming and nefarious approach to forcing her most expensive tanks and kits on her shoppers. Steer clear. And hopefully someone at Petco can see this and turn this around."

AFTER PAYING TWICE FOR THE PACKAGE Nora's appointments have been canceled and canceled and canceled. Neither Brian (12/10 12:15pm) nor Lizabeth who identified themselves as store managers was capable of providing a dissatisfied customer with a point of escalations for resolution. After a stonewall of at least 5 minutes with Brian telling me there is nothing he can do I am letting my fingers do the talking. Someone needs to contact me ASAP remedy this situation to my satisfaction. I have left my contact and business card at the Leesburg store and will be leaving my negative review in every possible location and spread my story. It was a long wait, and I had to pay twice. But my girl got her shots."

"Sitara is the name of the young lady that assisted me at the cash register and at the small pets section at closing time Sunday night, she was very nice and asked if I needed any help, then she asked me if I wanted to pet the ferrets (because I was looking at them), I replied “REALLY!?” I was so excited and surprised, I will be returning to Petco and I can easily recommend to others. She needs to be considered for management roles in the future. Great example of quality customer service."

"They just care about selling and push so hard to the point of lying. The male cashier insisted nonstop when we were paying for our purchases that we should get the membership and kept insisting and insisting. He said you can cancel whenever you want if you don’t like it, but I assure you, you will love it. Well, guess what? It is, in fact, not worth it, and you cannot cancel as it has a 12-month policy. He also said they offer vet services, another lie. They only offer vaccination services at this location. I would never go back to this store."

"Getting rabies vaccines for two dogs. Store was clean and well stocked. Traveling veterinary tech and veterinarian were friendly and very knowledgeable. Great job thank you."
