"We enjoyed the experience here. It seems like a great place to go and get a drink or food and spend time with friends. The only issue we had was with the spiciness of the food. We ordered chicken wings, a salad and a sandwich. We got the Bulldog Tears variety of wings expecting them to be tear-inducingly hot (they were decidedly not). Both the sandwich and salad, however, which neither of us expected to be spicy, were definitely spicier than the wings. V confusing."
"One of the few true soccer bars in town. GREAT place for a little footy and food. Welcoming and chill atmosphere. If you love the beautiful game and haven't been there, you're missing out!!"
"We had so much fun here on Sunday morning. The pub was open for English Premier League matches and my son (15) and I went to watch Liverpool. It was a welcoming environment for kids as there were even much younger kids there. It was also welcome to those who support other clubs too as the TVs were split between LFC and Chelsea. The staff were super friendly, as were the other patrons. The food was tasty and the beer selection quite large with lots of local, national, and international options. Highly recommended for those Premier League mornings. Oh…and it’s literally a neighborhood bar. Very cool!!"
"I was disappointed with our visit to Bulldog Pub. Atmosphere was great with a typical pub feel. The reviews seemed very promising and the place was packed. People were super nice and welcoming. We were able to secure a table after grabbing a drink from the bar. We ordered just a few things- loaded nachos, side salad, and one of the sandwiches. We waited for about a half an hour before we asked what the status of our food was (nicely). The server/bartender said “we are packed and it’s going to be awhile.” About 15 minutes later our food came out. The nachos were not what I would call loaded. They had a couple different cheeses and we add grilled chicken. They were cold. My salad was tasty but the tomatoes were bad in it. The sandwich was pretty good and so were the fries that came with it. We were able to get one drink refill when we asked about the food. I’d give it another try because the sandwich was promising."
"I had an off the menu item. Ribs. Got a half rack, fall off the bone, prefecto sauce not too hot, not too runny. It was great. The girlfriend thought they were the best she ever had. We went to Rib fest earlier this year so it’s not her first time eating ribs LOL. Bathroom doors were cute and tiny. Bulldog Pub was a great spot in Morningside."
